  • Where is Scarab Pots based?
    Scarab Pots has a studio within The Chocolate Quarter, in Keynsham, between Bristol and Bath, in the UK.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or gif in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Enter the app’s Settings 2. Click on the “Manage FAQs” button 3. Select the question you would like to add media to 4. When editing your answer click on the camera, video, or GIF icon 5. Add media from your library.
  • I've never done any pottery before. Would I be able to do one of your courses?
    Yes! Most of my courses are actually aimed at beginners and many people come not having prior experience. Give it a go!
  • I've bought a class / course. What do I need to know before I come?
    There is specific information on what you need to know before you come on the product page for the course you booked. You will also receive an automated email upon booking, which will give you the information you need.
  • Do you offer bespoke courses? Or is everything listed on the website?
    I do run bespoke courses, yes. If you drop me an email on scarabpotsbristol@gmail.com, and tell me what you're after, we can discuss how I can help you.
  • Do you post your pots internationally?
    I'm afraid that, at the moment, I can only post to addresses within the UK.
  • What kind of pottery do you make?
    I make pots from various clays, which are fired to stoneware temperatures of approximately 1200 degrees Celsius. Most of my pots are tableware. Although I make some sets (e.g. plates, bowls, etc.), many of my pots are one offs. Buying handmade pottery means that you have someone that no-one else has exactly the same!
